Abstract

In the Kengkam Bridge Construction Project in Merbau Subdistrict, we will find the carrying capacity of the pile foundation planning based on Sondir data using the Schmertmann method. The purpose of this Final Project is to calculate the pile carrying capacity that is safe, efficient and economical. It is known that the depth of the pile in the field of 40 meters and for planners obtained at a depth of 33 meters with safety factor 3 has reached a depth that is safe, efficient and economical. From the calculation, the carrying capacity of a single pole was 168.34 tons and the carrying capacity of a single pole was 56.113 tons, while the carrying capacity of the group poles was 3878.52 tons and the carrying capacity of the group mast was 1292.84 tons. Furthermore, it calculates the elastic decline of the pile that occurs, and calculates the efficiency and carrying capacity of the pile group. Based on the loading on the foundation of the pile group, the results obtained do not exceed the ultimate bearing capacity of the pole, so it is safe to use.
