Komunikasi dan Interakasi Kontrol Robot Mobile Menggunakan Sensor Accelerometer

Abstract

Robot is no longer a strange thing in the eyes of ordinary people because in developed countries many people use robotic technology to help with their daily work. but to run or command the motion of the robot in accordance with the command we need a special science because the components that exist in the robot are sensitive to the environment therefore it is needed a tool to control the motion of the robot safely and easily, one of which is by utilizing the existing accelerometer sensor on the smartphone to give commands to run the robot. In this study the authors propose the use of smartphones as a robot controller that is controlled by the user by utilizing the accelerometer sensor on the smartphone to regulate the movement of the motor to go forward, backward and turn according to the instructions given by the user through a smartphone device. and is equipped with an Ultrasonic sensor as a hindrance detector in front that will provide a warning in the form of a sound that recommends the user to control the robot where it can pass according to the scan distance from the ultrasonic sensor. Initial experiments show that robots can provide navigation well to users when the robot operates indoors.
